As health conscious consumers with a love for good food, and with summer temperatures rising, we came to the realization that something was missing. Ice cream comes with too much guilt, and frozen yogurt, although low in fat, is simply empty calories and offers very little or no nutritional value.
The solution? To utilize our 25 years of combined knowledge and experience in the health and fitness field, to create a one of a kind frozen yogurt that rivals the taste of fat-laden super premium ice creams, yet has health benefits unlike any product of its kind on the market. No guilt - just good, clean, wholesome fun. As we began our journey, we had one rule - never compromise. We would never settle for "good enough" - only the best. After nearly two years of research and development, YoPRO was conceived - the original, low fat, high protein super premium frozen yogurt.
A journey that would start in our kitchen led us to researching the markets, industry leaders, suppliers, ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing facilities. We forged on with a strategic plan in hand. With a rigorous set of criteria, we began working with the Guelph Food Technology Centre. With our team of experts we were faced with significant challenges. Although at times we were unsure if we could meet all of our objectives, we were successful - we had created the first low fat, high protein super premium frozen yogurt, rich in essential minerals, and without the use of artificial ingredients.
From the beginning, we set out to create a product that everyone would enjoy - athletes, health conscious consumers, children, and parents. As we continue to expand our product line and offer YoPRO in other parts of the country, we look forward to bringing YoPRO to your community for you and your family to enjoy.
