Dear valued customers, suppliers, and all who continue to contact us in search of YoPRO:
Many of you have been asking why you can no longer find YoPRO in stores. After working tirelessly, combining our twenty-six years of experience in the health and fitness field, and investing
everything we had in order to bring such an innovative and exciting product to market; sadly, we must inform you that we have had to stop production of YoPRO.
YoPRO showed tremendous promise; receiving numerous awards; and our business was gaining traction, with opportunities to expand across the country, and with plans underway to launch our first
soft-serve kiosk, and expand into the U.S. Unfortunately, due to detrimental errors and certain written commitments that were not kept by our largest retailer, Loblaw, the future of YoPRO is
Despite our efforts to avoid litigation; including notifying Galen Weston Jr., the Executive Chairman and face of the Loblaw brands, of the dire situation our company was in, we have been
forced to take legal action, as Loblaw has been unable to form a reasonable solution to the issues. This is not at all what we had envisioned when building our business, and not at all what
we would have expected when working with Canada's largest and most powerful grocery retailer.
For us, YoPRO was much more than just a product we created. YoPRO was our passion: a unique way for us to combine our love for food, our lifetime commitment to health and fitness, and our
dedication to improving the quality of life of those around us. YoPRO was our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn a dream into a reality and offer customers of all ages and lifestyles an
innovative, healthy treat with nutritional benefits. Whether it was research and development, distribution, ingredient sourcing, or manufacturing; from the beginning we committed to working
with the very best to ensure we could offer you the finest products and maintain YoPRO's high standard of excellence.
We can't fully express to you the joy and inspiration it gave us to hear from you, our customers, about how YoPRO put a smile on your face. Whether you were a chocoholic who found a sweet treat
without the guilt; a person fighting an illness who found a comforting way to increase your nutrients; an athlete who found a new, yummy protein source; or a mom who felt safe giving YoPRO to
your child who is allergic to peanuts, it has been an absolute joy to have created a product that people of all walks of life embraced.
As the founders of YoPRO, we are sure you can appreciate these are very dark times for us as we experience the deterioration of our business and our livelihood, as well as the snowball effect
it is having on other aspects of our lives. All we can do is hope that wrongs will be corrected and things will come to a positive conclusion for us soon to minimize any further damage so that
we may begin the daunting task of rebuilding our lives.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support over the past several years as we introduced YoPRO to the market. And thank you to those of you who have shared
words of encouragement as we pursue what is right. You inspire us and motivate us to persevere.
